Author: Oscar Arevalo (All RIAForge projects by this author) Description:
BugLogHQ is a tool to centralize the handling of automated bug reports from multiple applications. BugLogHQ provides a unified view of error messages sent from any number of applications, allowing the developer to search, graph, forward, and explore the bug reports submitted by the applications.
All bug reports received by BugLogHQ are stored on a normalized database, thus providing the option to the developers to further extend the application to leverage this information. Check out a demo <a href="http://www.oscararevalo.com/buglogdemo">here</a> (user/pass is admin/admin) ----------------------- Update 1.3.59 ----------------------- - This is a minor update to correct a couple of issues with not having full explicit paths to component references which in some cases could the CFCs not to be found (thanks to Jamie Krug) - Also added a missing setting in hq/config/config.xml.cfm used for sending copies of received bug reports via email. This setting is the email address of the sender, this needs to be set in order for the report emailing feature to work. ----------------------- New in 1.3 ----------------------- - Fixed multiple bugs and inconsistencies on the SQL scripts for different DBs - Improved mechanism used for data access - Added caching on the listeners as well as on the front-end application to improve performance. - Fixed other bugs across the project ----------------------- Version 1.2 ----------------------- Support for a configurable and extensible rules system. Rules are processes that are applied to each bug report as it is received. Rules can be defined for tasks such as sending notifications when a bug of given conditions is received; when the amount of bugs received in a given timeframe is greater than a defined threshold, etc. The rules system is extensible in the sense that each rule is implemented as a CFC with a common interface. For more info on rules see: http://www.oscararevalo.com/index.cfm/2007/10/2/BugLogHQ-New-Rules-feature
Requirements:
Developed under ColdFusion MX 7 and MySQL 5, but should work on BlueDragon too; The included sql scripts create the necessary tables for MySQL, MSSQL 2000, MSSQL 2005 and also includes an MS Acccess Database, but the same structure can be ported to other databases and the application should work the same.
